Manager, Build Quality (Tractor Assembly Plant)

YOUR ROLE
You will have a key role in Valtra’s Quality Management, to deliver Best Tractor Experience by ensuring manufacturing and product quality and to meet the Conformity of Production (CoP) set by the authorities. You work closely with production, manufacturing engineering, product development, quality colleagues and with other internal and external stakeholders. Your team includes 15 quality and quality assurance specialists and three of those are reporting directly to you. You continuously develop and support quality processes of Suolahti manufacturing site in a close cross-functional co-operation with stakeholders.
You define and implement quality management and quality improvement practices as well as problem solving tools. You will participate in problem solving together with stakeholders and your area of responsibility includes Quality Gates, Final Inspection and Product Audit. You report and analyze certain quality related KPIs and take actions based on results together with other stakeholders. You will lead our internal audits program in accordance with ISO standards and will be the main user for our Integrated Management System (IMS).

You have relevant education (e.g., master or bachelor’s degree) and you have already experience in working with quality, quality management, problem solving and preferably experience in leading a team. Experience of data analytics and statistical methods as well as experience of the manufacturing industry and agricultural or off-road vehicles is a big plus.
